... my completed New Ivy Moonboard, letters I need to respond to, my prayer beads, more correspondence in front of my wee Celtic pen-box, and a notebook I made years ago, and which I recently found down the back of a cupboard 👏
A closer look at the moonboard...
Left-hand page
A misty Autumn morning (we've had a few of those this week), some earthy fabric patterns, and a beautiful muse, lost in thought... I've added various stickers to this magazine fashion shot.
Right-hand page
The abundance of the season, and some words associated with the ivy moon:
good luck (why ivy is often included in bridal bouquets)
fertility (another reason for the above!)
evergreen
bounty
sacred
spiral
never-ending
loyalty
fidelity

Moonboards as opposed to mood boards that's interesting and so effective. Quite haunting I think. Well done Claire

Hi Claire, you put me to shame in the letter department; I can't remember the last time I actually hand wrote a letter to someone. Love the moon board, it's really evocative. Sarah #18

Beautiful autumn moon board! And isn't it the quality of letters that count, instead of quantity? Well at least I tell myself that because I am way behind with writing letters back too ;) Happy WOYWW xo Cheetarah #21

ReplyDeleteI love that you're writing letters, good on ya! And the moon board is so nice, and you've taught me something (the Ivy). Love the picture of the coloured gourds, kinda adds to the feeling of abundance to see all those colours. Clever.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I just love those pumpkins!
