New Hazel Moonboard

Before I show my new moonboard, I thought I'd share last year's...

This time last year, we were packing up our old home to move into this one. So much was uncertain, unstable, and I started this blog to try and ground myself as I prepared to be in a new house, in a village I'd never been to before, and in a home devoid of children (in term-time, at least). How would I cope??

I think you can see all this in this board - the busy-ness, the abundance of words, scattered images... me trying to figure a way through...

Compare that with this...

... fewer images and words - much calmer, more spacious 😔

The Hazel Moon is all about wisdom and joy, and an ancient, gentle kind of magic, a recognition of the holy, of being a sacred, created and creative being standing on sacred, holy ground.

  1. Hi! I love your 'moonboard'. After reading your post, I began looking up 'moonboards'. I cannot find anything about them, except you build them for climbing, which is not what I am looking for. I found a lot of 'mood boards'. Can you tell me a little more about how you use them?

    1. Here's the story - from my previous blog http://womanofartandmind.blogspot.co.uk/p/moon-dreamboards.html
Jamie Ridler stopped making the boards a long time ago because of copyright issues (using others' images), but as I make them for private use, and I don't charge a fee for a workshop or anything, it's not an issue.
      Hope it helps :)
But feel free to use the Contact Form below if you want to ask me any more questions.
And many thanks for taking the time to comment - it means a lot!
Oh, almost forgot - I did a guest post a couple of years ago, which may help http://littleredtarot.com/how-to-make-a-moonboard/
