Sunday Trees 6

It's the Harvest Festival at church today at 5pm. I won't be surprised if an overflowing barrel of apples from a neighbour's laden tree is placed at the altar,

Come, ye thankful people, come,
raise the song of harvest home;
all is safely gathered in,
ere the winter storms begin.

  1. Beautiful tree and what an abundance of apples! How wonderful!
    There are no apples left in our trees, all have been eaten by us, the deer and birds and wasps. There is plenty of apple juice, jam and dried apple slices left to be enjoyed during the winter though.
