Sunday Trees 3

One of the huge willows lining the village brook. I cannot believe I have this view right on my doorstop (ie a short scooter-ride away!)

  1. Willows love water. So perfect, that they have chosen to put down roots, by a source of it.

In the States, we have seen willows being planted too close to water lines. Silly humans. Of course the tree will do what is in its nature, and seek out water. And then, eventually, their roots will invade water lines.

    Wise trees. Silly humans. :-)
