Sunday Trees 293

I'm on a blogging roll this week, so I thought I'd join in with Becca's Sunday Trees.

The UK has been in something of a heatwave recently, and the trees are feeling it.

 It's cooler today (yay!) so I went for an early morning scoot... The clouds are gathering - but will there be rain? 

 They had rain in London yesterday at Queen's Club, so I'm hopeful we'll see some here today. For the sake of the trees, if nothing else!

    My first look at a horse-chestnut -- the leaves have a lovely shape to them --
    The heat is difficult on them -- particularly if they are not accustom to it.
