They do change so fast this time of year... one morning when you look there are no leaves left.
I love how your new home looks, and the conservatory would probably be a great place to overwinter plants, I think. I do hope you are able to stay there longer than the 6 months.
It's a grand horse chestnut - a 'conker tree' - there are many around the village. Their big, distinctive, 5-fingered leaves are the ones kids usually recognize first :)

Thank you, we hope so too... And yes, every day there is change in the trees, which is why I love them so :)
