(a wee wood between the school and the church in our new home village)
Come forth into the light of things,
Let Nature be your teacher...
...Come forth, and bring with you a heart
That watches and receives.
William Wordsworth from the poem 'The Tables Turned'
Happy sigh...
ReplyDeleteJust being able to linger in that wee wood, would be oh so nurturing.......

Indeed! And it's a proper wood - soooo many different varieties of trees :D Wonder if there are bluebells in the Spring...
DeleteWonderful lines from Wordsworth as we stroll though your wee wood Claire. We have hidden pocklets of nature on all our dog~walking routes and have started to snap them on the iPhone for future posts. :)
ReplyDeleteDelightful! I would love to wander there :)
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of "home village" -- and the spot is a lovely one. Thank you for sharing with Nurturing Thursday! Have a great weekend! :)
